Have you often been confused with your identity and beliefs and unsure on what you value most? Are you someone who is sensitive to external stimuli, and often change your values and what you want in life? This course will serve as a guide to answering some of your philosophical questions and explore new and meaningful relationships with yourself and others. The course is suitable for someone who has some experience of Buddhism, meditation and wants to learn about the fundamentals of Buddhist philosophy, and how it can relate with modern day living.
I absolutely love the Akanista Mindfulness. The classes really helped me de-stress and become more focused. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to try mindfulness for the first time or looking to enhance their practice.
I started the sessions with insomnia and difficulties in dealing with the stresses of undertaking a challenging Masters programme. By only the third week, I was sleeping much better and was more relaxed and focused. Thank you!
Karuna has shown me a simple yet highly effective way of becoming calmer and focused in my day to day life. The recordings that are provided at the end of each class are helping me practise the techniques on a daily basis.
I felt fantastic. So much more grounded and this was a massive lesson in dealing with stressful situations. Karuna has something really special about him.
