A getaway weekend retreat – Introduction and experiential understanding of Mindfulness Meditation practices & Energy Psychology

This retreat is suitable for those who are new to Mindfulness Meditation & Energy Psychology. Our previous workshops have been particularly helpful to people undergoing stress, high blood pressure, hyper-tension, anxiety, headaches, sleeping problems, low confidence and past traumas. Emotions such as stress can cause variety of physical disorders which could impact your relationships at home and also work.

Mindfulness is a simple, drug-free and self-empowering way for you to improve your health, resolve relationship conflicts and enable yourself to discard limiting beliefs that are holding you back. Mindfulness has been shown to reduce anxiety levels by 58% and stress by 40% (Krusche et al, 2013, Oxford University).

Energy psychology (EP) is a collection of mind-body approaches for understanding and improving human functioning. EP focuses on the relationship between thoughts, emotions, sensations, and behaviors, and known bioenergy systems (such as meridians and the biofield).

We are constantly connected to our gadgets, social media hardly connect to ourselves in a way that would ground us. Our mind and body has interdependent relationship, our body holds on to stress, anxiety and traumas of all kinds. In this workshop you will learn to understand the communication of your body, how body holds on to stress, anxiety and traumas and work on releasing them. Techniques you will use are Mindfulness and various different forms of Energy Psychology. You will learn tools and techniques that will allow you to embrace present moment by releasing past traumas creating better future.

This is an interactive workshop where you will be encouraged to share and discuss experiences. You will be guided step by step during the process and we will equip you with all the tools and techniques that you can use for daily life and finish the day with a very relaxed LIGHT guided meditation.

A short getaway “Weekend retreat” where you will learn to bring your mind back home to your body. We upgrade our laptops and phones regularly its time that to upgrade our mind.

Anybody who would like to learn Mindfulness meditation and are open to integrating creative techniques to release day to day stress and anxiety from life. This program is designed in such a way that all level of practitioner are able to use to suit your needs.

About the facilitator

Nitima Shrestha Priya is a Holistic Counsellor, life coach and mindfulness facilitator. She holds diploma in advanced Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy. She is also NLP, EFT, Quantum Touch and PSYCH-k practitioner and member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Nitima has been facilitating group therapy, Mindfulness courses, residential retreats, creative workshops, non residential retreats and private session for adults and children since 2011 in the UK, Portugal and Nepal. She has delivered many courses for corporate companies in London including, Imperial College, Royal College of Arts.

In this retreat Nitima will guide you through theories and practice of Mindfulness Meditation and Energy Psychology, allowing you to explore your thoughts, feelings and emotions so you can make the most out of present moment. She has unique and energetic way of working with people where you will feel safe, held and non-judgemental. She will help you to discover yourself in fun and creative ways.

7:30 – 8:00      Morning Energy exercises

9:00 – 10:00    Breakfast

10:00 – 12:30   Introduction to the program

12:30 – 13:30   Lunch break

13:30 – 15:30  Practical work (Meditation hall)

15:30 – 16:00  Short break

16:00 – 18:00 Practical work (living room by the fire)
